Hair Weaving is the procedure where artificial hair extensions or hair patches/hair systems are tied or weaved into the bald area of the scalp. This gives an illusion of fuller, thicker, and longer hair and coverage to the bald spots. The larger the bald patch, the larger the weaving area and hence, more extensions are added.

For hair weaving, professionals use hair made out of human hair for adding, braiding, and weaving them to your natural hair. In short, this technique mixes natural hair with a custom-made hair system for making undetectable and thick hair. Also, this method allows the person to choose his desired color, hairstyle, and texture.

The professional will provide a hair patch of the same size as the bald area. The hair weaving process is also known as hair integration.

Clip-on System Process

In this process, professionals weave the hair system with the help of clips. The client can easily remove and reinstall the hair unit themselves. It is ideal for people with less hair baldness. The lifespan of this method is up to 1.5 to 2 years, depending on use and maintenance.

Attachment Process

In this process, professionals weave the hair system using medicated glue and double-sided tape. This is ideal for people with severe baldness (3rd Grade to 7th Grade baldness area). The lifespan of this method is up to 8 – 15 months.
